1 · What this covers

Arcadia — including but not limited to the Arcadia programming language, the Arcadia compiler, the deterministic content vetting engine, the browser runtime, the publishing infrastructure, the sprite library, the seed games, the curated word lists, the teacher curriculum, the printable booklet, and the site's HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and image assets (collectively, the "Arcadia Works") — is an original work authored by SenSym, LLC, and is protected by copyright under U.S. and international law.

2 · License to use

Use of the Arcadia Works is governed by the project's source-visible license. Reading the source code does not grant any right to copy, modify, redistribute, or operate the Arcadia Works. See the LICENSE file in the source repository for the full terms.

Games and other content authored by users in the Arcadia studio are the property of their respective authors. SenSym, LLC holds a non-exclusive license to host, display, and distribute that content as set out in the Terms of Service.

5 · Trademarks

"SenSym™" and the SenSym logo are trademarks of SenSym, LLC. Use of these in a manner that suggests endorsement, affiliation, or origin from SenSym, LLC requires prior written permission. The name "Arcadia" is used in its descriptive sense (arcade-style games) and is not claimed as a trademark.

6 · DMCA & licensing inquiries

To report copyright infringement, request a license, or ask permission for a use outside the scope above, contact SenSym, LLC via the contact information on the About page. Notices must include the information required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3): identification of the copyrighted work, identification of the allegedly infringing material, your contact information, a good-faith statement, and a statement under penalty of perjury that you are authorized to act on behalf of the rights holder.
